About The Brand

Papertecture is a Hong Kong based papertcutting studio, founded by architect Nick Tsao.

The name is derived from Paper Architecture, a fantastical design that is never built or possibly never intended to become tangible. It is a reflection of where Nick’s crafts journey began - as an architectural intern building models with paper.

The logo is the Chinese character for Paper - 紙. It takes the form of a little house, either perceived in perspective or in section.

The studio is rooted in a love for traditional craftsmanship, materials and culture. We will continue to explore various products, bespoke gifts, workshops, graphics design and artwork.
